Lunchtime Supervisor (Child Supervisory Support Officer) Grade 2 (pt 2), (Actual Salary £2,530 per annum) Term Time Only 5 hours per week Monday - Friday 12.00 – 1.00pm To start ASAPSt Charles’ VC Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable lunch time supervisor to join our friendly team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils in their learning through play and emotional development. The successful candidate must be committed to work as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in ensuring inclusion of all children, providing safe supervision of pupils at lunchtime; promoting and encouraging good manners and good behaviour in accordance with the policies; acting as a good role model when speaking and listening to the children. We are looking to appoint someone who: • Is kind, caring, energetic and enthusiastic • Is well organised, flexible and creative • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Enjoys working within a supportive team • Is able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectation for all children As a child supervisory support officer, your duties will include: • providing safe supervision of pupils over the lunchtime period; • promoting and encouraging good manners, good hygiene and good behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies; • ensuring that pupils are engaged in healthy activities during their lunch break; • acting as a good role model when speaking and listening to the children; • reflecting the ethos of the school. • You would need to make sure that play is safe and encourage children to be aware of their own safety and that of others.
