This is an exciting and varied video production role, creating a variety of video content both at our client offices and on location in conference and event venues. Working as an integral part of the GLO team, the thrill which comes with the responsibility of producing videos, often with tight deadlines will motivate you.
We are seeking an experienced and creative Video Producer to join the GLO team as we expand into London. This is a split role – part of the time you will work for one of our large corporate clients as their in-house video producer at their Canary Wharf offices. The other part of the time you will be covering a range of events and video projects and working as part of the wider GLO production team. When not on shoots, you can work either from your home or a permanent desk at our King’s Cross workspace.
This dynamic role involves managing the full lifecycle of video content and other media assets, from ideation and pre-production to post-production and delivery.
When on our client’s days, you will be embedded within the client’s team, collaborating closely with their internal stakeholders to produce engaging multimedia content that aligns with the client’s strategic goals and brand standards. You will be line-managed and fully supported by GLO and will be a fully-fledged GLO team member throughout.
Outside your embedded days, you will work as part of our team on a wide range of GLO projects ranging from event coverage to fast-turnaround social video production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualisation & Planning
o Collaborate with the client’s marketing, communications, and product teams to develop compelling concepts for video and media projects.
o Translate brief requirements into production plans, storyboards, and timelines.
o Basic scripting of piece to camera / interview content.
2. Video Production & Direction
o Oversee all production phases: scripting, casting, scouting locations and organising crew and equipment.
o Direct and produce video shoots, ensuring all creative and technical elements meet the highest quality standards.
o Set up lighting, sound and camera(s). You will often operate as a one-person lighting-camera unit.
3. Post-Production & Editing
o Manage post-production workflow: editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and sound design.
o Ensure final edits align with client brand guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
4. Project Management
o Own project timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee on-time and on-budget delivery.
o Maintain clear communication with the client and external vendors, providing status updates and addressing any roadblocks.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
o Act as the primary point of contact for client internal teams and external partners regarding video and media content.
o Prepare and present project proposals, drafts, and finished content for review and feedback.
6. Quality Control & Brand Consistency
o Maintain the client’s brand identity across all video and multimedia deliverables.
o Continuously refine and improve media content based on performance metrics and feedback.
7. Emerging Trends & Innovation
o Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in video production and media.
o Advocate for innovative ideas that can help the client stand out in a competitive market.
