Salary: £34,640 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Overtime and shift allowance are available.
Job Description: As a Plater Fabricator, you will be responsible for carrying out trade-specific point-of-work risk assessments, adhering to all risk assessments, policies, and laws. You will also ensure that all tools and equipment used are suitable, fit for purpose, and in date for any inspection required. Additionally, you will attend training courses, tool box talks, and briefings where possible, develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses via the appropriate reporting tool.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship, naval equivalent qualifications, or qualifications (NVQ in Trade). You should also have experience in fabrication, be competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment, and relevant industry experience in Marine, Oil & Gas, Heavy Construction, or Rolling Stock. Furthermore, you should be able to work at heights and confined spaces.
