An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Team Manager (0.6 - Band 7) within the Integrated Veteran's Mental Health Service, Op Courage. The post holder will work alongside the CNTW team and with the Clinical Manager aimed at transforming veterans' mental health services across the North of England in partnership with the wider provider collaborative.
The Team Manager will be required to forge relationships with the wider provider collaborative across the North region of OpCourage and ensuring KPI's of the service are adhered to.
Provide clinical leadership for all cases, chairing Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings and ensuring quality of the supervision structures and appraisals within the team.
Make complex, sensitive decisions based on professional judgement in relation to service users and their families, being aware of the safeguarding children and adult procedures, adhering to local guidelines and policies.
Promote, implement and manage clinical standards and good practices within their area of responsibility and across the care pathway ensuring appropriate record keeping is maintained.

We are looking for a candidate who is dynamic, has leadership skills to bring, who can work well under pressure and has a keen interest in an operational role. Whilst the Team Manager post can be busy one, it is also a highly rewarding one, ensuring services are as effective, safe and responsive as they can be.

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
* First Level Registered Nurse RNMH, RMN, RNLD or equivalent first level qualification e.g. Social Worker, OT, Clinical Psychologist, other.
* Previous Band 7 experience or significant experience as a Band 6.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of managing staff.
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team using a community-based approach.
* Experience of providing community-based mental health services.
* Experience of the patient group (veterans).
Skills and Competencies
* Demonstrate leadership skills/delegation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict management.
* Experience of Performance Management.
* Evidence of effective organisational skills.
* Knowledge of RiO data systems and IT skills.

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year pro rata per annum.
