The team identifies potential apprentices from the National Apprenticeship Service website and aligns them to roles with our clients who utilise us as their apprenticeship provider. Knowledge of the apprenticeship process, familiarity with IT systems, and confident engaging through different communication channels has more importance for this role than a recruiting background. The role is not commission based like many recruitment agency roles.
Develop and deliver In-Comm’s apprenticeship engagement strategy to ensure all vacancies created are filled with credible candidates.
* To work as part of the administrative function of the business. Job functions being:
* Promote and raise the profile of the company and its apprenticeship opportunities to schools, colleges and other external agencies and prospective candidates
* Establish excellent working relationships with key personnel in schools and colleges across the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Shropshire
* Undertake activities that result in students being recruited to the apprenticeship programmes, including marketing, planning and running open events, attending career events, parent’s evenings, assemblies and supporting schools with enterprise/career activities.
* Organise and market Open Day events and school STEM project events.
* Raise awareness of the apprenticeship programme.
* Generate & maintain a bank of potential applicants.
* All social media and marketing work, building on and increasing existing profiles.
* Work alongside the recruitment team to successfully place candidates on In-Comm’s programmes
* Review and administration of recruitment platforms & website promoting In-Comm’s apprenticeship vacancies
* Interviewing potential candidates for vacancies
* Liaising with companies to arrange interviews with suitable candidates
* Up to date knowledge of all apprenticeship offerings
* General administration duties; telephone, photocopying, scanning etc.
Competence & Knowledge Qualifications
Information Technology
* Competent user of all IT functions to ensure smooth running of operations support
Technical or Industrial Competence
* The individual must be technically or industrially competent within their specific sector area to Level 2 standard.
Driving license
* Must hold a valid driving license and be prepared to drive to schools/colleges/skills shows etc to promote apprenticeship opportunities.
Transferable Skills
Communications
* Be a clear concise communicator with a wide range of people
Organisation, Prioritisation, Flexibility & Time Management
* Be able to organize and prioritise workloads to ensure that operations support aids business functions of In-Comm
