We operate a leading RCVS specialist-led, multi-disciplinary referral hospital in Castle Donington near Derby, specialising in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue, Oncology and Dermatology. We also provide certificate led services in Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology, as well as a first opinion and out-of-hours emergency service to the local area.
We require an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who has a proven excellent leadership experience. The ideal candidate will share our vision in providing the best possible clinical care, be a great place to work, with great facilities and equipment.
As the Head Veterinary Nurse, you will support the Hospital Director and Heads of Services in the day-to-day operations, lead an amazing team of 27 RVNs, SVN's and PCA's to motivate and achieve their career aspirations whilst encourage a strong team culture throughout the practice.
This is a full time permanent position of 40 hours per week, with a share of daytime weekend cover (approx. 1:7 weekends with TOIL during the week). No overnight shifts required. The salary for this position is between £35,000 and £42,000 per annum depending on experience.
