If so, we are looking for two enthusiastic and engaging Customer Delivery Team Leaders to join our Scotland Field Services Team, focusing on providing lead expertise within a specific work area in APHA Scotland Field Services.
We currently have the following Customer Delivery Team Leader roles are available. Candidates will be assessed for their suitability for each role and will be posted accordingly.
* Customer Delivery Team Leader for Continuous Improvement and Performance.
* Customer Delivery Team Leader for Customer Delivery Team.
As a Customer Delivery Team Leader, your role will involve a wide range of tasks and responsibilities including, but not be limited to the following:
Performance Management (team):
* Take responsibility for the team and its outputs.
* Ensure work is carried out in the most effective, efficient way to utilise skills, knowledge and resource capacity.
* Managing performance and rewarding and recognising good performance.
* Champion diversity and inclusion.
Target Delivery:
* Ensuring work is delivered on time and at the required quality standards.
* Raising issues as and when appropriate.
* When targets are in jeopardy, escalating to senior management.
Responding to emergencies:
* Being flexible to adapt to changing situations across Scotland and responding with energy and commitment to take on additional tasks that may be outside the normal day to day duties.
* Motivating those in your team to respond to changing demands, providing support and guidance.
Leading Change, Improvements and Performance:
* Championing and providing support to colleagues and senior management to identify, inform of and embed relevant process changes, best practice and benefit of continuous improvement (CI) across Scotland Field Delivery.
* Ensuring that those within the team are kept informed of relevant process changes and the reasons for them.
* Undertake training and promote any CI initiatives and training sessions in line with business strategies.
* Ensuring that the team are upskilled and can implement new ways of working and do so effectively.
* Reporting to the senior management team progress updates relating to delivery of work areas.
