Environment Manager
Contract Type:Permanent Full Time
Location:Bradford, Chatham, Petersfield or London
Working Pattern:Hybridtypically a couple of days a week in the office. Part-time or flexible arrangements are considered to support work-life balance. You and Your Team:
Join our team as anEnvironment Managerand take charge of shaping the future of our environmental strategy! Youll be at the forefront of managing infrastructure assets and the Pre-Production environment, playing a key role in driving the release process. Partnering with dynamic project teams and the Release Manager, you'll ensure smooth, flawless deployments before they hit Production. This is your chance to make a real impacttake the lead in testing and optimizing our systems for success!
As an Environment Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Accountable for shared pre-production environment bookings and ensures they are ready for testing teams to test.?
* Defines and owns the Salesforce org refresh strategy?.
* Documents the current environment composition and configuration.
* Produces the environment strategy to ensure effective use of resource.
* Refresh environments (back promote) for multiple Orgs: DEV, QA, INT, UAT, PRE-PROD, HOTFIX.?
* Creates additional environments as needed.
* Ensures the Salesforce environment is properly configured and documented to meet delivery and business needs.?
* Monitors the performance and stability of Salesforce environments.
* Communicates with stakeholders and management about the status of the environments and any issues that arise as well as mitigation steps.?
* Ensures Salesforce environments are secure and meet the security requirements of VBG.
What Were Looking For:
* Experience in managing all aspects of a complex, Salesforce focussed, technical software delivery environment.
* Experience in the design and delivery of a Salesforce software delivery environment.
* Experience in developing and documenting an environment strategy for solution delivery.
* Ideally, 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce
* Qualified Salesforce administrator
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well astroubleshooting expertise.?
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.?
* Ability to prioritise effectively and escalate issues as required.
