Senior Care Assistants will be required to:
* Attend handover at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure all our residents can be supported fully and to allocate responsibilities to Care Teams.
* Oversee the running of the shift to ensure residents' needs are met and staff are supported.
* Assist residents who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and continence support.
* Assist as required those with mobility issues, physical disabilities and help in the use of care aids and equipment.
* Assist with meals and snacks as required, ensuring individual dietary requirements are followed.
* Carry out competency assessments, induction and in-house training of staff.
* Complete audits on H&S, Medication and IPC protocols.
* Record and document adequate records of client care and support on our digital care planning software.
* Ensure care plans & risk assessments are reviewed and updated according to residents' changes in need.
* Maintain high levels of communication, attend regular meetings and supervisions.
All About Care is looking for individuals with senior care experience, preferably in mental health, who have gained a minimum of Level 3 H&SC Diplomas. Candidates who have residential experience and are enthusiastic, can work well in a team, and follow instructions will be beneficial.
