We’re looking for a Facilites Operative to join us!
You will have a vital role aiding Health & Safety by ensuring a clean & safe working environment across the various departments as directed including, but not limited to, Office Areas, Shop Floor, Canteen, Reception and Walkways to carry out a range of general cleaning and housekeeping duties, disposal/removal of waste including general waste and recycling products and carrying out any general ancillary tasks associated with maintaining the health & safety of site.
Main Tasks:
* Working to Workplace Organisational standards, ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained in all areas and disposing of waste in an appropriate manner.
* Control and monitor associated paperwork to provide accurate documentation.
* To assist in stocktaking
* Check stock levels of consumables and PPE required for the use of various cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals.
* Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, windows, restroom cleaning etc).
* Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance visits.
* Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
* Make adjustments and minor repairs associated with the role.
* Providing on-the-job training & development for new/existing employees where required

Key qualifications, skills and experience required
* Proven working experience in Facilities
* Ability to handle equipment and machinery
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
* Waste removal; ensure that a safe working environment exists by removing waste to the dedicated areas and following the set standards.
* Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
* Integrity, Trust & Honesty
