What we are looking for We are looking for candidates to join the Ceremonial Escort Guard of His Majesty The King at Royal Ascot as a Greencoat. Those who currently serve in this role consider it to be an honour. We welcome applications from former members of the Armed Forces, the Police Service, the Fire & Rescue Service and The Royal Household, as well as previous Charity or Public Sector employees. Greencoats are required to be amenable, approachable, and extremely smart in their appearance. Greencoats need to deliver great customer service elegantly, seamlessly and with the ability to make the guest experience original. You will be interacting with our guests continuously whether it’s an acknowledging smile, answering any queries with genuine interest or sharing knowledge. Please note that the role requires that you will be standing for long periods of time and includes using stairs & escalators. How often you will be working We are primarily looking for 'outstanding' individuals to join us from 17 June until 21 June 2025 and on occasion (by request) during the ensuing year. You will also need to be available to attend a training & briefing session held on 16 April 2025.
