Role: Business Development Manager
Salary: £50k-£55k attractive OTE, car allowance and competitive benefits package

The Company
Our client is a significant player in the waste sector, providing specialist waste treatment and disposal services to the construction, energy, and oil and gas sectors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the Midlands and South region.
The Role
* As BDM, you will develop and generate sales in the construction waste services, including contaminated soils, filter cakes, and asbestos waste.
* You will be a driven, self-starter who will develop and build strong commercial relationships across your region.
* As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for writing and presenting commercial proposals and will work collaboratively with the Operations teams to deliver high-quality customer service.
* You will create excellent client relationships to ensure a comprehensive understanding of all technical details of the services provided.
* You will have autonomy for planning and managing your client base and region, ensuring regular face-to-face customer visits.
* You will maintain knowledge and awareness of market trends, customer trends, and the competitive environment.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven track record as a Business Development Manager from within the construction, demolition, or remediation sectors.
* Technical waste understanding from these sectors.
* Exemplary presentation skills, having worked on behalf of a corporate organization.
* Decisive with strong negotiating and influencing skills.
* Excellent relationship builder with clients and internal colleagues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent IT skills required.
