£55000 pa + 6% Bonus

KPI Recruiting have partnered with one of our longstanding, and extremely well established clients for the recruitment of a new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join this reputable company within the sales function for a National Account Manager (NAMS). Experience within food manufacturing/ FMCG is essential, as you will be respopnsible for a large client base and will be expected to grow the brand with both new and existing clients and customers. My client has a reputation of best in class, and they are only looking for self-motivated sales professionals, with the ability to work on their own initiative, proactively grow the market presence and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities;
Delivery of annual volume, and margin targets for Wholesale customers.
Promote the brand with new and existing customers, generate an increase on YOY growth.
Input into the development of the sales channel business plan, aligned to company strategy and objectives, unlocking opportunities to deliver against all budget metrics within wholesale channel.
Gain a strong market understanding of competitors, products and price in order to sell to OOH clients.
Utilise the businesses existing network to ensure profitability targets are achieved, thorugh strong relationship cultivation and generating new business leads.
Negotiate and execute joint business plans integrating both Customer and company strategies and objectives to deliver profitable growth.
Ensure total business engagement in the delivery of activities and initiatives to delivery against Customers strategies and objectives.
Proactive management of all key commercial relationships establishing strong collaborative working relationships.
Delivery of brand activation standards - distribution targets, share of shelf, NPD launches on time to expectations in Wholesale channel.
Support the sales controller to achieve stretching commercial KPIs by executing the commercial strategy in a number of accounts by developing collaborative partnerships with your customers
Candidate Desirables:
Degree level education preferred
Minimum 2 years sales experience including both branded and private label products in a FMCG environment
Extensive experience of negotiating joint business plans with customers
Understanding of, and ability to use, data and category management principles to deliver mutual beneficial solutions to customer partners
Proven ability to influence both external and internal stakeholders to implement new solutions to drive profitable growth
Ability to manage complex relationships to deliver against commercial objectives
