Due to recent growth and expansion, they're looking for a Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join them at their Nottingham site to assist with the mechanical upkeep of the site with all its mechanical plant and electrical installations!
This role is paying circa £44,207.11 per year, paid weekly! This is made up of a salary of £39,420.42 with an additional £4,786.69 for 17 cover shifts you would be required to do over the year! Also, whilst on standby, you will get £15.00 per day. If called out, you will receive a minimum of 4 hours at 1.5x of the overtime rate, equalling £93.86!
This is a full-time permanent position with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern - DAYS ONLY!
As an Electrician Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
2. Site electrical installations and upgrade work around the plant.
3. Electrical maintenance of plant, including ppm system.
4. Routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
5. Troubleshooting and solving problems.
6. Providing production support within the Shift team and providing shift cover when required.
7. Assisting other mechanical/operational departments when required.
The ideal candidate has:
1. A recognised Electrician Apprenticeship/Qualification.
2. Strong electrical knowledge and relevant experience.
3. Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices.
4. Comes from an industrial/manufacturing/factory background.
5. Extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
6. Proven experience with fault finding.
7. Prior experience in electrical/mechanical breakdowns.
8. Experience installing and working with circuit boards, power supplies, meters, lighting, electrical points, and electrical wiring.
9. Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
10. Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well at all levels.
