St Hugh’s College seeks a Development Manager – Regular Giving and Legacies to join the Development Office on a permanent basis. If you’re an experienced fundraiser and or development professional looking for your next career move, this could be the one for you Although one of the youngest and largest colleges within Oxford, St Hugh’s was founded in 1886 to provide an education to women from poorer backgrounds who were otherwise excluded from the University. Nearly 140 years later, this legacy of fairness, inclusion and equality remains at the forefront of everything we do. The Development Manager – Regular Giving and Legacies is a key role within the Development Office and the main purpose of the post is to raise funds and increase participation from our diverse alumni community of over 10,000 as we prepare for a major capital campaign to mark our 150th Anniversary in 2036. The successful candidate will have a passion for fundraising and building relationships with key stakeholders. They will manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors and lead the College’s mid-level giving programme, while encouraging legacies, pledges and other forms of support.
