The school offers a highly individualised curriculum designed to engage students in practical and academic learning while providing the necessary support to help them thrive. With small class sizes and a therapeutic approach, the school aims to create a safe and structured learning environment for all students.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join this specialist setting. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and accessible science lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEN. QTS is not required for this role, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced educators, tutors, or instructors with a strong science background.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Plan and deliver creative and engaging science lessons.
✔️ Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning needs.
✔️ Support students in developing confidence and independence in their education.
✔️ Work collaboratively with SEN specialists and support staff.
✔️ Create a positive and structured learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience teaching or supporting students with SEN/SEMH needs.
Strong subject knowledge in science.
A flexible and adaptable teaching style.
A passion for supporting students who require an alternative approach to learning.
