To ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all Job Description The role will ️ Lead the CE&I delivery team and provide the interface with other disciplines. Experience of the following is preferred: Site Surveys of electrical assets. Design of services. ⚙️ Plant/Site modification (design and implementation). Support the production of engineering documentation and drawings, including but not limited to: Site Survey Reports ⚡ Single Line Diagrams (including protection diagrams) ️ Cable Routing Block Cable Diagrams ⚠️ CDM Risk Assessments Cable Calculations & Cable Cards ️ Outline Installation Method Statements ️ CAE, input to optioneering, etc. BIM input where required. Support to Single Discipline Design Review & Production of Minutes of Meetings. Support to Multi-Discipline Design Review & Production of Minutes of Meetings. Qualifications ️ Can produce and maintain key deliverable documents, reports, calculations, schedules, drawings, etc., to programme and appropriate quality. Can liaise and coordinate with other design disciplines and plant engineering in the preliminary/detail design process. Experience and ability to guide younger/less experienced engineers. Experience in managing a team of EC&I design staff. ✅ Experience in checking design deliverables. Familiarity in using typical project metrics to evaluate and report design progress. ️ Can support the EC&I design team in meetings and reviews. ️ Is conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. AutoCAD, AVEVA E&I, PDMS, Trimble MET - cable calculation software). ⚡ Must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery. Experience in the design delivery of building electrical services. ⚖️ Competent in the application of CDM Regulation. Competent in the application of IET wiring Regulations. Experience in space management, cable routing, and cable management. Ability to work as part of an integrated delivery team and individually, even within restrictive time constraints. ✨ Desirable Experience: ️ Experience in the use of AutoCAD. Experience in the use of AVEVA Electrical or similar CE&I design packages.
