Long Home Products is a trusted home improvement company since 1945, and we are seeking a Project Manager with home exterior experience to join our team in our Mid Atlantic office, serving the MD, DC, and Northern VA areas.
Primary Purpose & Function:
1. Monitor the overall installation process for various jobs; take measurements and complete pre-installation inspections, order materials, and assign projects to installation crews.
2. Maintain exceptionally high standards of customer contact and service overall as the primary liaison between the company, customers, and subcontractors.
3. Manage and supervise the Installation and Service teams daily; provide direct leadership, management, and support to the team.
4. Ensure that departmental goals are met and adhere to established policies and procedures.
5. Accountable for completion of projects on time, within budget, and within quality standards, to meet business performance expectations.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer service issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
7. Evaluate and select subcontractors in all markets for quality, cost, and reliability.
8. Oversee the ordering of materials to ensure quality and cost control.
9. Ensure all installation processes are followed consistently; conduct job site inspections and evaluations of the final product delivered by the subcontractors.
10. Act as a vital member of the Leadership Team, proactively contributing to the company's continued growth, improvement, and advancement.
11. Participate in corporate initiatives and process improvements as needed.
12. Update the operating system with job status and information for customers.
13. Establish control and monitor the progress of all processes involved in designated operations.
14. Perform quality control checks for new orders.
15. Ensure OSHA compliance on all installations.
Desired Skills/Experience:
1. 3 years' experience in Roofing, Windows, and Doors installation experience (Roofing installation knowledge desired).
2. 3 years of construction and installation experience as a project lead or foreman desired.
3. Knowledge of construction and code requirements.
4. Resourceful problem-solving abilities.
5. Excellent organizational, time management, multi-tasking skills while managing information for multiple jobs.
6. Versatility and a willingness to work within changing priorities.
7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Ability to bend over, lift, and carry 50 lbs.
9. High School Diploma/GED.
10. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
11. OSHA certification (a plus).
