Full job description
To support staff in their professional development. This post will:
1. Be responsible for ensuring the delivery of practice and professional education and training for SACT across the Trust in conjunction with Lead Chemotherapy Nurse and Lead Cancer Nurse.
2. Promote a positive and creative culture of learning and staff development.
3. Provide consultancy support for managers and staff offering advice and guidance on education and training issues relating to SACT.
4. Review local, regional or national guidance relating to best practice in professional and practice education; including acting as a link in education between Ashford and St Peters Hospitals and Royal Surrey Foundation Trust.
5. Work closely with the educational leads, including wider Clinical Practice Educator team, and clinical leadership team to maximise professional development.
6. Review annual systemic anti-cancer therapies competencies on the day units providing SACT.
