Area Manager / Operations Manager – Bristol
A leading property firm based in Bristol is seeking an experienced Area Manager / Operations Manager to oversee their operations across the South West region. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to manage a growing team of seven, driving operational efficiency, business development, and the overall success of the central Bristol office.
As the Area Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, maintenance, and team performance while contributing to strategic business development. This position offers the chance to take on significant leadership responsibilities, overseeing all aspects of office and operations management, including budget oversight and profit and loss responsibility.
Key Responsibilities for the Area Manager / Operations Manager:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the central Bristol office, ensuring all functions run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Lead and develop a team of seven, providing strong direction and support to ensure high levels of performance across operations, maintenance, and business development.
3. Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth within the region.
4. Oversee the office’s sales management efforts, guiding the team to meet and exceed targets.
5. Manage operational budgets, with full responsibility for the office's profit and loss.
6. Ensure that all operational processes are aligned with company standards and contribute to the overall success of the South West operation.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience in Area Manager or Operations Manager roles, preferably within property, lettings, estate agency, housing, or a similar sector.
2. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating teams to achieve success.
3. Experience in office management, operations management, and people management.
4. Sales management experience, with the ability to lead and develop business growth.
5. Familiarity with managing budgets and having profit and loss responsibility at a branch level.
