We are looking to further strengthen our kitchen brigade, with people who are used to working in a busy environment. These roles are offered on a full time basis with a great work-life balance of 36.5 hours per week, working on a rota basis including evenings and weekends. You will already be working in a professional kitchen and have experience as a commis chef or a kitchen porter wanting to make the next step. You will be joining our skilled team at Lancaster University. We are seeking a passionate person with the drive to improve and deliver on the creative edge. As a Chef in our team, you will have enthusiasm and drive to further develop your existing skills. You must display initiative and self-reliance, but also be able to contribute to and work within a large, fast paced and successful team. The Hospitality and retail departments have a diverse range of outlets and styles of catering across the campus, including catering for students, conferences, dinners, cafes and bars, restaurants, Graduation and Open/Visitor days. We welcome applications from people in all diversity groups.
