An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is committed to improving outcomes for young people in Torbay to join us as the Youth Hub Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of youth work, young carers and substance misuse service delivery as well as engagement and oversight of the commissioned youth services.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience of successful working and management within youth services.
* Have experience of providing and reporting assurance to commissioners.
* Be educated to degree level standard or equivalent in a relevant subject, such as, Social Work, Health, Education and be registered, regulated professional as defined in the Professional Qualifications Act 2022, such as Social Work England, Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Skills
Essential:

* Highly developed presentation and written skills and ability to deliver to a wide range of audiences.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
Knowledge
Essential:
* Significant knowledge of current policy and practice relating to Children's Services local government and partnership working.
* Considerable knowledge of relevant legislation and processes relating to children’s social care/ SEND.
* Considerable knowledge of the role and responsibilities of the social workers/ those working within Special educational needs.
* Business continuity management.
* Planning and project management strategies, including escalation of non-compliance.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:

* Evidence of being a registered, regulated professional as defined in the Professional Qualifications Act 2022, such as Social Work England, Nursing and Midwifery Council.
* Experience of successful working and management within youth services.
