Maidenhead, Berkshire REF MAI/AS A family in Maidenhead (near Ray Mill Island) are seeking a part time nanny housekeeper to care for their 7 year old and 2.5 year old children, both attend a local private school and nursery. Their ideal applicant would be someone proactive with good initiative, organised and who is quite active. Their son loves to play outside on their trampoline or climbing frame and get messy in the garden The role would involve collecting the children from their settings, taking them to relevant groups and clubs and entertaining their 2 year old with fun activities after nursery. The family have a cleaner, but would like some additional housekeeping duties to be completed such as general house management. This role does offer some flexibility with hours in the school holidays and they can contract a week night babysit, if someone wanted to do so. The family are happy to contribute to their nannies professional development, such as first aid courses. General duties may include; Cooking fresh and healthy meals for the family and batch cooking, meeting their needs and routines, washing the families clothing, ironing (their 2 year old will be at nursery for this) arranging play dates and taking/collecting from settings, taking them to groups/classes, tidying after the children and the main living areas once used (vacuuming and mopping), keeping their bedrooms tidy and playroom tidy etc. Start Date: February 2025 Option 1: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday – 12:45pm until 7pm (preferably with full days in the school holidays, but this is not essential) Option 2 : Monday to Thursday, 4pm – 7pm (term time only, or increased hours in the holiday) Driver: Required, with own car. Car seats will be provided Pets: 1 Dog, Labrador Travel: Not essential, but open to discussing with applicants Babysitting: The family would love to find someone who is open to ad hoc work, but this is not essential At least 4 years professional childcare experience required Salary: £15-£18gph, depending on experience and can pay a pro-rata salary
