The position
Join our team as a Medical Information Specialist for a 12-month contract. Your Code knowledge will be essential as you will be part of the review team for promotional and non-promotional materials.
You will also be the go-to expert for all medical enquiries related to our products.
This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in our Gatwick office.
Key Requirements of the role include:
* Review materials and ensure that they are factual, technically accurate and meet ABPI requirements (Copy Approval)
* To represent the medical information team at cross functional team meetings providing support and input to business units.
* Coordinate and conduct product training for customer care provider
* Creation of standard responses for use by 1st line customer care provider
* Respond to medical information enquiries (2nd line escalated enquiries only)
Your ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner will be key in providing accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Medical or scientific degree (e.g. BSc, MD, PhD, PharmD)
* Previous experience in a medical information role is required. Experience with copy approval review of promotional materials is essential
* Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex medical and scientific information to diverse audiences
* Strong attention to detail
About the department
You will become part of a dynamic team of six passionate Medical Information Specialists, who are dedicated to achieving excellence. As a team, we are constantly evaluating our processes to find smarter, more efficient ways of working while ensuring compliance with obligations and legal requirements.
Based in our Gatwick office, this role reports directly to the Safety and Medical Information Manager. More broadly, you will be part of the UK CMR (Clinical, Medical & Regulatory) department, which includes approximately 140 employees across various teams, such as Clinical Research, Medical Affairs & Education, Regulatory, and Safety.
