Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Birmingham & West Midlands
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Health & Safety professional to advance their career with a market leader in the construction sector.
The Role
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting health and safety initiatives across multiple construction sites in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
Location & Travel
This role offers a mix of remote work and site visits. A full UK driver's license is essential, as travel to various locations is required—though not excessive.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive professional with:
1. At least 2 years' experience in a construction health & safety role
2. A NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
3. A solid understanding of health & safety legislation and industry best practices
4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills to drive a positive safety culture

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in developing and reviewing Health & Safety policies for each site
2. Conduct site inspections and attend Site Review Meetings
3. Support the identification and management of SHE risks, issues, and opportunities
4. Stay updated on SHE legislation, best practices, and industry trends
5. Ensure effective governance and support across various sites
6. Promote a positive and proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental excellence
