We are recruiting for a Theatre Practitioner to our multi-disciplinary team who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. We are open to applications from both registered Nurses and Operating Department practitioners, with experience in any of the three perioperative disciplines: Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery.

Our service consists of 4 Main theatres, 2 Day surgery theatres, 1 Ophthalmology theatre, and 1 Maternity theatre. We can provide experience in a number of surgical specialties including:
* General Surgery
* Breast Surgery
* Colorectal Surgery
* Gynaecology
* Obstetrics
* Trauma & Orthopaedics
* Urology
* Emergency Surgery
* ENT
* Max Fax
* Ophthalmology
We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified Nurses or ODPs who believe they can support the leadership and development of our team while providing expertise and facilitating the delivery of evidence-based practice.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will mainly be based with the Main theatres team, although flexibility across all theatres will be required. You will be rostered to work a mix of duties including weekends, on-call, and, depending on experience/role, nights.

Person specification
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Registered Practitioner with current NMC registration or HCPC registration
* Evidence of relevant post-basic study
* Can demonstrate the key competencies of the Behavioural Framework
* Completion of required IOW NHS TRUST mandatory training updates
* Completion of work-based competency modules
* ENB 998; Minimum of 2 years relevant post-basic clinical experience
* Perioperative experience of Scrub/Anaesthetics/Recovery

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
