We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our team in a Leeds-based secondary school. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, where you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Drama lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. You will have the opportunity to nurture student's creative expression and performance skills, helping them reach their full potential.
Requirements:
1. QTS or PGCE in Drama or a relevant subject.
2. A proven track record of teaching Drama at secondary level.
3. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
4. The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
5. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
6. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Drama lessons that stimulate and motivate students.
7. Foster a supportive and creative environment where students feel confident in expressing themselves.
8. Monitor and assess student's progress, providing constructive feedback.
9. Contribute to school productions, extracurricular activities, and events.
10. Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a culture of creativity across the school.
11. Ensure that all students are appropriately challenged and supported, taking into account their individual needs.
