About the Role In this role, you will manage a team that delivers productivity and infrastructure services to a global organisation across multiple countries such as the UK, South Africa, Spain etc. Take proactive ownership of anticipating the business needs and building a highly efficient service delivery team to build/maintain/deliver stable infrastructure and innovative solutions to scale the business. What You'll Do Report into the Head of Workplace Technology Accountable for all IT Infrastructure ( End user hardware, Firewalls, Networking, Hosting ) & Productivity tools ( O365, Slack, Zoom & Business Applications ) Focus on team development Demonstrate a high level of customer focus and hold the team accountable Lead a team of employees that : Research and identify solutions to process and technology gaps Proactively partner with stakeholders Strive for continuous improvement Track issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits Build short and long term strategies for improving the "employee journey" Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal/external teams (e.g. software developers/partners) Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers Create impactful communications Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time Follow up with employees to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting Document technical knowledge in the form knowledgebase articles and training manuals What You’ll Need 4 years of experience in IT and leadership BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field Experience in managing large scale digital transformation programs Experience in building highly effective teams Good to have experience in ITIL process knowledge, Video Conferencing, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom. Bonus Points ITIL v4 Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus Experience within the finance software industry
