Inspirational Deputy Headteacher - Southgate School
(This role is to start in Autumn 2025 or earlier)
The Governors of Southgate School are seeking a passionate, inspirational and proven leader who is committed to the principles of nurture. This person will be an exceptional dynamic leader who will share our vision and values. Our school has doubled in size over recent years and we have fostered a successful partnership with a nearby secondary school to develop a satellite provision and we are constantly looking for opportunities to further develop our provision.
Our Ofsted inspection in February 2024 confirmed that we continue to be a good school and the new Deputy Headteacher will be a key player in continuing to move our school forward.
We know we transform lives; and we are looking for a senior leader with vision, courage, drive, intelligence and organisational brilliance, who puts young people at the heart of everything they do, takes enormous joy in their unique qualities, and knows how to inspire and get the best out of our people.
We provide exceptional educational opportunities for children between the ages of 4-16 years with complex and inter-related needs who are working significantly below expected levels. We are seeking a passionate leader with proven experience of working as leader in a special school to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in our pupils' lives.
We are proud to be a ‘school with a difference’ with a deep commitment to a powerful ethos. Parents are positive about the impact of the school on their children. Our core values of our school community are Relationships, Independence, Opportunity, and Communication. Our focus is on giving our pupils their best possible futures, enabling them to lead happy, safe and purposeful lives. Safeguarding is paramount.
Our aim is to provide our pupils with the skills, knowledge and confidence to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
If you want to lead a strong team and support a powerful ethos that is proven yet different and is backed by extensive research then this is the perfect opportunity.
