Job Description
* Take charge of procurement activities across key service areas, including Adult Social Care, Public Health, and Construction.
* Manage high-value tenders, frameworks, and smaller-scale procurement projects.
* Ensure compliance with Public Contracts Regulations and council policies.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.
* Identify and manage risks throughout the procurement process, ensuring optimal outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Senior Procurement Officer should have:
* Experience in the Adult Social Care or Construction categories.
* In-depth knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations and procurement frameworks.
* Proven ability to manage tenders and other procurement methods efficiently.
