Residential Development Solicitor – Senior Associate | 1-3 PQE | Birmingham
A nationally recognised legal and professional services group is seeking a talented Residential Development Solicitor to join its dynamic team as a Senior Associate in Birmingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Residential Development Solicitor with 1–3 years’ PQE to work on complex, high-profile development matters. You’ll work alongside some of the biggest names in the housebuilding industry, as well as niche developers, delivering a full range of legal services for large-scale land acquisitions, funding arrangements and urban regeneration projects.
What you’ll be doing:
* Advising on complex land acquisitions for major housebuilders across England and Wales
* Drafting and negotiating collaboration agreements between developers
* Assisting with disposals of serviced land to Housing Associations and other developers
* Providing legal support on funding arrangements and strategic land options
* Contributing to urban regeneration projects and high-profile developments
* Collaborating with partners and specialist teams across the firm
* Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to the team’s growth
* Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
What we’re looking for:
* 1-3 years’ PQE as a Residential Development Solicitor with a strong interest in land acquisition and development
* Experience with housebuilders or commercial property development is beneficial
* Strong understanding of real estate law, land transactions, and development agreements
* Excellent client-facing skills, commercial awareness, and negotiation skills
* A team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships
* Passion for land acquisition and a commitment to growing within a market-leading team
