About the role As a Learning Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of students. Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff. Work with students aged from four to nineteen. The role is on a bank basis with the option to become permanent/ long term if this becomes something you are interested in. Requirements To be considered for the role of BANK Support Worker you will: • Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and sensory needs • Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
