Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm)
Salary: £35,845 - £50,290 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Auditor to lead a team ensuring the highest standards of accommodation and service delivery across our Initial and Large Site Accommodations. You will manage a team of auditors, provide critical insights to senior management, and ensure compliance with contractual and statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Management:Manage, plan, and coordinate the work of the audit team, providing monthly schedules.Ensure auditors conduct monthly audits of Inspection Officers' work.Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Ensure team members meet training requirements and develop their skills.Foster a cohesive and high-performing team environment.
2. Audit & Compliance Procedures:Ensure audits cover a variety of accommodation types and sizes.Conduct audits in line with internal quality assurance processes.Conduct assurance checks of personnel standards, accommodation, and services.Provide periodic reports identifying gaps and recommending improvement strategies.Facilitate and attend inspections/audits by UKVI and statutory bodies.Provide detailed responses to queries from UKVI and stakeholders.
3. Risk Management & Stakeholder Collaboration:Identify potential risks through audit reports and implement mitigation strategies.Liaise with stakeholders, statutory inspectors, and subcontractor staff.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, attending meetings as required.Provide on-call cover during peak times or emergencies.
4. Operational Effectiveness:Manage own time and the team to ensure timely completion of audit tasks.Maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.Work towards individual and team goals and performance objectives.Maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
5. Proven experience in audit management and team leadership.
6. Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
8. Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
9. Ability to manage a remote team and extensive travel.
10. Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
