The Role...
As a Project Architect, you will be at the heart of our clients stadium projects. Your expertise in General Arrangements (GA) planning, space optimisation, and multidisciplinary coordination will be key to delivering functional, aesthetically striking venues that meet both operational and regulatory demands.
On a daily basis, you’ll be responsible for:
* GA Planning: Leading and contributing to space planning and layout design, ensuring every project achieves both visionary creativity and practical functionality.
* Space Optimisation & Coordination: Maximising available space by balancing operational requirements with regulatory compliance, while seamlessly coordinating with engineers, planners, and consultants.
* Application of Regulations & Technical Standards: Applying your deep understanding of sporting regulations, safety codes, crowd flow, and accessibility standards to every design.
* Revit Proficiency: Our client works with BIM to a high standard. Therefore, they require candidates to possess the proven ability to use Revit whilst creating detailed, precise designs that facilitate collaboration across multiple disciplines.
What We’re Looking For...
* Experience: Candidates must have at least 3 to 5 years of direct experience working in the sports sector, with hands-on involvement in sports venue design and large-scale stadium projects. While our client welcomes applicants with 10+ years of overall industry experience, a minimum of 3-5 years specifically within sports is essential to ensure you have the requisite expertise for this role.
* Technical Expertise: Proven skills in GA planning, space optimisation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
* Revit & Software Skills: Extensive experience using Revit to manage complex design challenges, alongside proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel). Alternative software will be considered.
* Collaborative & Independent Working: A proactive problem-solver who thrives both independently and as part of a dynamic team, delivering innovative solutions under pressure.
You will receive a competitive base salary in the region of £50,000 to £60,000 (dependent on experience), complemented by an attractive bonus scheme and extensive benefits package.
