As Production Team Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing one of our Production Operation teams, while also building on and developing your own key leadership skills. You’ll ensure our raw materials, prepared and finished products are produced to the highest standards in the safest environment. As well as making sure things are running smoothly, you’ll always be looking for ways to improve the quality, efficiency and production costs through engaging and supporting your team members and collaborating with other functions. This position is working Day shifts, working 6:00am until 6:00pm, 4 on 4 off. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the team to ensure effective delivery of our products Leading Health & Safety within the area of responsibility, engaging the team to ensure compliance and improve the safety culture Developing the team to achieve targets. Engaging them and promoting autonomy to enable them to achieve their KPI's; safety, quality, deliver, cost Working collaboratively with other functions to ensure that work plans are agreed, prioritised and delivered Supporting and supervising in the following: Preparation of, receiving, handling and issuing of raw materials and the dispatch of finished product; The use of a computer and software packages (Microsoft bias); Using hand-held devices and relevant software systems; Leading and developing the team to improve the quality, efficiency and cost of production through engagement and application of the leadership principles Ensure your team is compliant with quality standards Deliver communication and reporting to the highest standard Leading and developing the team to focus on asset care and quality assurance Leading continuous improvement activities providing measured improvements through application of CI principles Sounds interesting, what do I need?
