Kitchen Assistant Job Description

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the kitchen is clean, tidy, and well-organised.
2. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
3. Support the chef in cooking and baking tasks when required.
4. Wash all the dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
5. Sweep and mop floors and take out the rubbish regularly.
Qualifications:
1. A team player with a positive attitude.
2. Someone with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
3. Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is a plus, but not essential - we provide full training.
4. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Work Schedule:
35 hours per week including alternate weekends.
