We offer a competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and pay structures. You'll also receive an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside of Lidl.
Job Description:
As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you will help us maintain our high standards day after day. Your key responsibilities will include motivating and supporting your team, swiftly solving problems and delegating tasks, creating an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you, managing operations within your store, handling freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly, and giving our customers the very best experience every time they visit your store.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience leading a team to achieve targets in a bustling, fast-paced environment, the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team, patience and a friendly manner with the ability to keep calm in any situation, passion to thrive as a key part of the Store Team, and a proactive and encouraging approach to help your colleagues develop themselves and store operations.
