What you’ll be doing:
Create innovative solutions to evolvingtechnological and operational challenges for complex Multi-FunctionRadar systems that our clients and end-user communities areexperiencing Using a wide range of expertise in systemsengineering concepts and methods to provide technical solutions andaddress engineering problems Undertake system design analysis to managetrade-offs of system parameters to characterise and specify robustdesign Discern and decomposerequirements to system and sub-system level and manage these in anapproved toolset such as IBM DOORS Next
* Be a key technical contributor conducting systemdevelopment and implementation activities, with internal &customer stakeholder engagement, and mentoring of juniorengineering peers
Working together with specialists in diverseengineering fields, such as software, mechanical, electrical, andelectronics, to realize comprehensive system designsolutions Planning and undertaking system integration andtesting Contributeto definition and articulation of system acceptance strategiesdemonstrating system performance across a wide range of operationalscenarios underpinned through production of customer acceptanceevidence You will develop a broad knowledge base in radarengineering and enhance your personal profile with seniorstakeholders through theseefforts
Your skills and experiences:
Understanding of at least one of the followingsubject areas; signal processing, target track extraction, objectclassification algorithms, system and sensor resourceoptimisation. An appreciation of factors that can affect thereal-world performance of sensing systems and how these can impactthe accuracy and timeliness of measurements to meet challengingdesign objectives and requirements Demonstrates understanding and experience ofSystems Engineering which could include knowledge of SystemsEngineering standards (e.g., ISO 15288)
* Higher education (or equivalent experience) in arelevant STEMdiscipline
