We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Sub Agent to join our dynamic NMC SW Account team at Polmadie, Glasgow. This is predominantly office-based position with attendance on site as and when required. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all construction activities in relation to our Routine Maintenance programme of works undertaken by Amey and our sub-contractors. This role would suit a candidate currently working in a similar position who has experience of managing Principal Contractors duties with a background within Civil Engineering, Construction or Term Maintenance Highways Contracts. What You'll Do: Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation Deliver works programme to the client's programme and budget Use construction solutions that cause minimum disruption to traffic Effective planning and use of supervisory resources Receive completed scheme designs and create programme of works, construction phase plans and arrange any required subcontract or supply chain support. Develop and maintain procedures to achieve certainty of programme delivery Consult with others regarding supervision of works, including establishing required resource levels Responsible for the control and deployment of all associated resources (Plant,Labour,Materials) and ensuring accurate allocation and recording Ensure that projects are delivered to time and budget in accordance with the client's programme and financial commitment Review design and contractual options during the design process Oversee measurement and valuation of work carried out Review success of solutions and provide feedback to all relevant parties Why Join Us?
