NATIONAL SALES MANAGER | Up to £45,800 per annum Hybrid role with both office and home-working. This role also involves national travel and attendance at events as required. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Events team as National Sales Manager on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave from January 2025 until February 2026. In this role you will lead outbound sales efforts to achieve revenue, EBITDA, and new business targets by fostering strong relationships with internal teams and existing clients. You will drive repeat business, while actively pursuing new opportunities with potential clients. Previous experience of coaching, developing and leading a field-based sales team is required and you will be required to inspire and guide them to ensure their account management of agencies and direct clients delivers profitable growth for Center Parcs across all locations. Other responsibilities will include planning and hosting appropriate show-rounds, FAM trips, events and village site visits as required. This role will therefore include national travel and attendance at events as required. A full UK Driving Licence is therefore required and you will be provided with a company car. HOURS OF WORK This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave until February 2026. You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm. Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working. This role also involves national travel and attendance at events as required. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Understanding of the UK hospitality and events industry. Ability to lead and direct a remote sales team to deliver results using strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, key accounts, and industry partners. Experience in B2B sales role, within a MICE / hospitality / events environment. Significant experience of Sales & Account Management. Significant experience managing and developing a high performing team. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Self-motivated, dynamic, personable individual able to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and an aptitude to negotiate profitable contracts. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to drive results and exceed targets. Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel nationally and attend events as needed. Desirable requirements: Experience of dealing with annual targets in excess of £10m and individual accounts in excess of £200k per annum.
