Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality administrative services for Outpatients. They will be responsible for the management of the Outpatient clinic schedules and and daily management of booking clerks, including appraisal, training, sickness absence monitoring and recruitment and retention. The post holder will be expected to manage their own work load. This will include Electronic booking, ensuring appropriate is action where necessary to ensure patients can access treatment within the defined timescales. Able to confidently liaise with Service Managers cross site. Working with specified teams monitor, support and review patient pathways in line with 18 Week Delivery Programme. To deal with complaints, collate statistics and provide performance reports, using appropriate computer programmes to achieve this. The successful candidate will have proven experience of first line management of staff and be able to work without supervision. Work using their initiative and be confident in deputising for the Outpatient Support Manager where appropriate.
