Job Summary:
As the Education Category Manager with a focus on EYFS in schools, you will be a thought leader in your field, bringing strong experience and expertise in EYFS leadership across a school or a trust. Your role will be crucial in developing and executing strategies to create content that raises attainment in EYFS in schools. You will oversee and manage the performance of specific EYFS educational content within the Twinkl Brand, driving growth and ensuring alignment of brand goals with market opportunities. You will identify opportunities, prioritise resources, and collaborate closely with marketing and school teams to communicate and sell your category of content.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and implement GTM strategies for both B2C and B2B markets, focusing on customer segmentation, pricing, and promotional tactics. Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate initiative effectiveness. Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their understanding of Twinkl’s products and market positioning.
2. Thought Leadership & Market Positioning: Lead the development of thought leadership initiatives in the education sector, including research studies, white papers, and opinion pieces. Establish yourself as a thought leader by staying informed on market trends, engaging with key influencers, and representing Twinkl at industry events. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote innovative teaching practices and build a network of education experts.
3. Content Development & Innovation: Collaborate with content teams and country managers to enhance and innovate Twinkl’s educational offerings. Guide the creation of new products tailored to your area and other key segments. Ensure content quality and relevance through continuous feedback from educators and market analysis.
4. Market Expansion & Customer Engagement: Identify and penetrate key markets by working with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and drive sales. Foster strong customer relationships and implement strategies to enhance user satisfaction. Build local partnerships and deliver world-class, localized customer support to support market growth.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Subject Area.
* 5+ years of experience in leading in EYFS within UK schools.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies to improve attainment in EYFS.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Highly organized with strong project management skills.
KPIs:
* Deliver and execute an annual category strategy including cross-content line linking strategy.
* External reach as a thought leader.
* Achieve Share of Voice on your narrow category Influence Topics of 50%.
* Build and maintain 1 significant thought leading brand partnership per quarter.
* Ensure your category achieves and maintains 1 key accreditation.
* Ensure your category achieves its rolled-up conversion, upgrade returning user, download, ratings & ROI metric targets.
* Every category achieves +80 NPS monthly.
