Role Introduction / Overview: The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is senior professional position responsible for supporting the control environment for Regulatory and Management Reporting (RMRR) risk strips in the International markets, in coordination with stakeholders from various businesses, functions and markets. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy. Business / Team Overview: International Regulatory Reporting Governance team is responsible for International level governance and oversight of regulatory reporting across Cluster and Country Controller teams and International Regulatory Reporting Production Hub. The team entails a responsibility to ensure a strong control environment for Regulatory and Management Reporting (RMRR) risk strips in the International markets, as well as playing a critical role driving global projects and initiatives on regulatory and management reporting Some of the key responsibilities in the role: Working with global Regulatory Reporting team on global initiatives. Support to ensure guidance are understood and could be executed at International Controllers and franchise level from practical standpoint with consideration of local rules and practice as well as local regulators' expectations Keep close contact and maintain professional relationship with stakeholders including Cluster and Country Controller teams and International Regulatory Reporting Production Hub teams to ensure requirements and expectations are clearly understood and communicated Prepare, consolidate and review Regulatory and Management Reporting metrics in International, Cluster and Country level for senior management oversight Track and monitor Regulatory and Management Reporting issues and ensure timely escalation and remediation Support ad-hoc requirement, including presentation material, monitoring metrics, analysis, etc., on Regulatory and Management Reporting related topics Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Exposure to different businesses and functions from Regulatory and Management Reporting perspective Participate in coordination, socialization, and execution of Global initiatives What knowledge, skills and experience we'll need from you: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferred Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Proven organizational and time management skills Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
