About the role
We’re looking for a passionate Campaign Insight Analyst to join the Customer Marketing & Loyalty team in our Nottingham office.
Our team’s aim is to turn our world-renowned Boots Advantage Card data into clear, actionable insights for our stakeholders. We want customers to receive highly personal, relevant communications that create value for the business.

You will work within the Personalisation and Customer Data Science team, in an area that specialises in campaign activation for our supplier brands.
You will analyse data from multiple sources to:
1. Identify optimum audiences for our marketing campaigns,
2. Build targeted campaign selections
3. Analyse the results for campaigns (across email/app/social)
4. Translate your findings and present them to our business partners, providing insight that shapes future strategies to improve what we do and lead commercial value.
5. Improve existing processes and enhance efficiency
6. You’ll work with teams across the business to help deliver the best outcomes for our customers.
What you’ll need to have
These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.
1. Relevant previous experience or a degree with quantitative elements (i.e. includes statistics modules), such as Maths, Physics, Geography, or Psychology
2. Experience translating business questions into analytical problems, using available data to develop a scalable solution
3. You will have experience presenting complex results to less technical audiences
4. The desire to investigate potential problems
5. Experience organising own workload, working on multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
6. Confidence talking to others and building relationships. Working with marketing teams is an important part of the role
It would be great if you also have
These are desirable skills or experience and are not essential, so we would welcome applications from candidates that don’t match this additional criteria.
1. Proficiency in a coding language such as SQL, R, Python etc.
2. Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI
3. Experience of targeting, optimisation or measurement of Marketing activity, using Adobe campaign or similar
4. Experience using relational databases
5. Demonstrable record of delivering results in a commercial environment.
6. Expertise in working with large structured and unstructured data sets
7. Examples of where you have automated business processes
