About Us:

As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to lead our finance function and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with senior management to ensure financial targets are met.
* Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development of financial strategies to support the growth and operational efficiency of the company.
* Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements. Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth process.
* Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the group’s cash flow, ensuring funds are available for operations and investments.
* Team Leadership: Manage a small team within the finance department, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
* Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
Skills & Experience:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in financial management.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, ideally within the healthcare or care sector.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting practices, and statutory requirements.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
* Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
