Contracts Manager
Our client, a leading engineering contractor, is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team looking after projects, predominantly in East and Central Scotland.
This role is pivotal to the business and requires someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience in a management role. You will ideally come from an engineering-related background where you have worked your way up and possess the technical knowledge to understand drawings and the administration side of the role.
Your key responsibilities will include getting involved early in the project process at the estimating stage. The Contracts Manager will have overall responsibility for procurement, programming, health and safety, and quality management. They will also work closely with the commercial team providing information on potential variations to contract and new opportunities.
Working predominantly on-site, you will also be expected to go into the office for meetings and to complete administration, reports, etc.
Your package for this challenging and rewarding role will include a salary of up to £70k (flexibility DOE) plus an excellent benefits package, training, and development.
