Permanent vacancy - Maintenance Supervisor (Device and Plant repairs)
Salary - £30,000 - £35,000
Location - Stirling
Working hours - 8:30am - 5pm
Days - Monday - Friday fully onsite
Our client based in Stirling is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their busy team. This is a brand new role to the company and they are open to any background as long as you have repair/maintenance and supervisory experience.
The purpose of this role is to supervise the Service Technicians team performing testing, repairing, and maintenance of all medical devices whilst following all Health and Safety guidelines and policies. In parallel, this role will also have hands-on plant maintenance responsibility, involving repairs, maintenance, and unplanned maintenance to all equipment while including liaison with 3rd party specialist contractors.

1. Manage the testing, repairing, and cleaning of medical device equipment
2. Plan the allocation of resources across the team to ensure efficient throughput of devices to meet daily demand for devices and service intervals
3. Preventative maintenance programs to extend maintenance life and minimise downtime
4. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively
5. Knowledge of calibration and maintaining equipment to maintain operational standards
6. Report to the respective Site Manager with close communication/accountability to Technical Maintenance Manager, to liaise and problem-solve any issues impacting on medical device equipment, safety, production plant and equipment, and associated quality and logistics
7. Ensure that the equipment output matches the needs of the business
8. Ensure equipment meets manufacturer and technical standards suitable for use by customers
9. Ensure Service Technicians are trained, internally and externally, to meet business needs
10. Fully document service reports
11. Ensure an efficient and safe operation
12. Ensure the Health & Safety/welfare of yourself and fellow colleagues by following company Information Security, HR as well as Health and Safety guidelines and policies
13. Coordinate and liaise with 3rd party contractors to enable both repairs, maintenance, and compliance checks on respective Fill plant equipment
Required Experience
1. Experience in repairs and maintenance
2. Previous experience in a technical/mechanical Team Leader role
3. Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently, exercising a high degree of autonomy
4. Technical and repairs background
5. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Ability to use statistical and other data to produce reports
6. Organisational skills and strong communication skills
7. Ability to travel to required locations
