We are looking for a meticulous individual to join Talbots as Legal Assistant for our Private Residential department, with 6 months experience in a relevant field.
As a Legal Assistant, you will be expected to provide support to the wider team including Lawyers and Paralegals.

What the job involves:
* Answer the phone and deal proactively with a wide range of queries, including introductory calls to clients and agents as well as updates and follow-ups using both telephone and email.
* Collect post and DX from receptionists and distribute to Conveyancers; scan and allocate unclaimed daily post.
* Undertake file opening procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
* Scan ID to SOS and carry out the AML search.
* Find a lawyer check.
* Obtain and check official copy entries (freehold and leasehold where appropriate).
What you need:
* A minimum of 6 months experience within a legal or property-related working experience.
* Be passionate about giving outstanding client care to both clients and referrers.
* Excellent administrative, planning, and organisational skills to support the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £22,682.16 per year
