What we look for in your application:
* Registered with the Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Registered Paramedic (HCPC).
* Recognised Nurse Practitioner Qualification or Paramedic Care Practitioner course which must include minor injuries.
* Proven history of working in an A&E department or equivalent setting and performing the role of a Nurse/Care Practitioner, with the ability to work as a responsible autonomous practitioner in minor injuries.
Main duties of the job
* The ability to work autonomously, to meet the individual needs of clients from the age of 1 year, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
* Demonstrates expert clinical skills.
* Has a caring and professional approach to patients and colleagues.
* Ability to organise the swift flow of patients through the unit safely & effectively.
* Experience of working under Patient Group Directions (PGDs) for the supply of medications.

Qualifications & Training
Essential
* Registered Nurse or Paramedic
* Autonomous Training A33 or equivalent
* Minor Injury University Post Graduate Course
* Extensive Post Registration experience
* Good knowledge of the Musculoskeletal system
* Experience with reading x-ray imaging.
Desirable
* Independent Non-medical prescriber
* Evidence of further x-ray training e.g. Red Dot Course
* Experience in an Emergency department, UTC, MIU
