An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Lead Member of a small team and be expected to support and advise colleagues to facilitate best parenting capacity.
Reduce safeguarding risks for children and families and escalate to child protection when there is a risk of harm.
Monitor and improve standards of care through leadership, guidance, audit, evidence-based practice, and training.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be responsible for the implementation, continuous improvement, and review of the Vulnerable Baby Service, working with the Service Manager and a wide range of strategic partners to provide quality care for children and families.
The work involves close multiagency collaboration and facilitation of information sharing for babies meeting the criteria, coordination and facilitation of multiagency case planning meetings, and full engagement of families.
To intervene early to help keep infants safe and reduce risks of harm as well as raising awareness in a public health capacity.
